Mentastics® Series

Mindful movement practices for self-care, self-development, and for our work with clients - this is Mentastics.   Dr. Milton Trager coined the term to gather this whole field of practices under one title. Today, aspects of Mentastics interface with many other disciplines.

In this series of classes, each morning focuses on principles of natural movement and how they enhance the sensing of freedom, softness, ease, groundedness, and connection. Afternoons challenge you to deepen your personal practice while connecting more meaningfully with others, both on and off the table.

These classes provide NCBTMB CE credits for bodyworkers and massage therapists and are open to professionals and students in movement education, mindfulness, yoga and wellness training.

TRAGER MENTASTICS

A unique, neuromuscular approach to re-patterning through movement Trager education principles, Mentastics is also a set of self guided mental and physical exercises that form a passive, individualized component of Trager work sessions, which are used to link the mind and body for optimal performance.

The Trager® Approach is a health enhancing system of movement therapy that consists of dancelike movements intended to evoke sensations of freedom and lightness.

This CE course stands alone and also serves as a requirement for Certification in the Trager® Approach. You’ll deepen your experience of Movement Mentastics through demonstrations and supervised practice. Trager® is a valuable approach for anyone who wants to elevate awareness in themselves and their clients.
