After becoming a massage practitioner in 1986, Carolyn studied Reiki. In late 1987, she met a Trager® Practitioner (Irene Darpino) who offered a complimentary session. Afterward when asked how she felt, she said “I feel like I just had a big hug in a rocking chair.” In January 1988, Carolyn attended a Trager® Lecture/Demo, and by February, she was in a Beginners Class at the then Trenton Trager® Center. Studying with many of the instructors of that time, and often repeating classes at the Trenton Center with different Instructors, she became fully certified as a Trager® Practitioner in 1997. Carolyn later became a Trager® Introductory Workshop Leader, and has a small practice called Trager® with Carolyn LLC, in Bridgeton, New Jersey where she resides with her husband. She enjoys giving Trager® Lecture Demos and introducing people to the Trager® Approach in hopes of recruiting new students.
