A Message from TI regarding Renewal Tutorials

The Education Department has been considering the subject of Renewal Tutorials. In the current Covid-19 circumstances, annual renewal tutorials can be in person, online or by telephone.

We encourage Practitioners to explore ways to take advantage of these Tutorials for personal and professional growth, enriching their practice and getting some relief from isolation - especially during these pandemic times. Making contact with a Tutor is much easier online and this is an opportunity to meet Tutors outside your area!

Annual Renewal Tutorials are usually required for the first 10 years after becoming a Practitioner. However, we also understand that many of our Members have been unable to give sessions during this time because of local restrictions. Therefore, if it would be a hardship for a Practitioner to receive a tutorial for the 2021 membership renewal, their National Association may waive the Tutorial requirement for that Practitioner.

Please note that any Tutorials that were due before 2021 renewals, will remain outstanding until they can be completed.

We will review the situation again, later in 2021.

Best wishes to you all,

on behalf of the Education Department Members,

Joan
