Thanks to the Trager® Foundation and Anna Marie Bowers’ helping hand in coordination the Gofundme funds through the operative support of the Foundation and subsequent direct payment for the booth rental and successful outcome of Trager touch and presence in the October 24-26, 2019 AMTA Convention in Indianapolis. Thanks & kudos to Roger Hughes’ inspiration & dedication in creating & managing a GoFundMe “It’s All in the Touch” campaign.. Roger drove from Chicago, IL & Elisabeth Contadino drove from Cincinnati, OH to join Beverly Cox in Indianapolis to run the booth.
The AMTA conference planners only allotted 13 hours of operational booth time for vendors at the two & a half day conference. During Thursday & Friday’s ten & a half hours of booth time, Roger & Beverly gave a total of 54 back to back 20-30 minute “Taste of Trager” mini sessions & during Sunday’s two & a half hours Beverly gave 10 back to back 15 minute mini sessions while Elisabeth did Mentastics & talked with the many other folks who came to our booth throughout the conference. We were repeatedly told by participants that Trager had created quite a buzz as the booth to visit.
The conference attendees we interacted with were from all around the country & many expressed interest in receiving &/or learning Trager. We “Hooked (them) Up” with the Trager website to find a practitioner &/or class in their area. We were delighted to be able to introduce & share Trager with a crowd so eager to experience it. It was an amazing & joyful “Happening” to deeply touch so many people in such a meaningful way.
We meant to get a group photo on Friday while Roger was still there, but got so busy we forgot until we were saying our goodbyes as Roger was heading home. We joked about photo shopping Roger in … and he did! Big Trager Applause all around!!!
