RENEW TODAY! 2020 Membership

Dear USTA Member,

You can now renew your membership in USTA for the 2020 membership year! We are pleased that Student dues have been reduced significantly this year. The dues for each of the other membership levels have remained the same as they were in 2019.

2020 Dues Amounts are as follows:

  • $245 for Practitioners or Senior Practitioners

  • $130 for Non-US Practitioners

  • $275 for Instructors ($245 for Practitioner Dues and $30 for Instructor Fee)

  • $275 for Mentastics Teachers ($245 for Practitioner Dues and $30 for Instructor Fee)

  • $275 for Tutors ($245 for Practitioner Dues and $30 for Tutor Fee)

  • $75 for Retired Practitioners

  • $50 for Associate Members

  • $50 for Student Members (NEW, REDUCED FEE!)

We’ve made Changes in the Past Year:

  • State of the art website with streaming video and multimedia presentation

  • Access to video library, featuring footage of Gary Brownlee working with Parkinson’s and demonstrating various moves.

  • Free website for Practitioners, where you only need to add your personal information

  • Monthly e-newsletter

  • Monthly schedule of classes

New Member Benefits this Year:

  • Voucher for taking specific one-day classes for free or at a reduced fee (additional details will be forthcoming!)

  • Liability insurance policy at a discounted rate of $99 per year for those who do not already have it with another licensed organization (additional details are forthcoming!)

We’ve made these Important Changes while:

  • Cutting our budget by 40%

  • Negotiating an end to our office lease payments

  • Cutting the price of student dues

  • Creating a pioneering Trager Conference with scientists in the cognition and movement field from Israel and the US

Renew Early to Save:

Although we encourage you to renew your membership dues in USTA today, you have until March 31, 2020 to renew without incurring a late fee. For anyone who has not renewed their 2020 membership by then, a $50 late fee will be applied to your membership dues beginning on April 1, 2020.

Student Members:

The above timeline does not apply to Student Members, as Student Members have different renewal dates based on the date they joined USTA. Therefore, if you are a Student Member and would like to know when your membership dues are up for renewal, please contact me via email.

Requirements needed to renew your USTA membership include:

  • Practitioners are expected to submit 24 hours of CEU’s every three years, counting from the year when they became a Practitioner. I will be sending emails to those members who need to submit their 24 hours of CEU's now.

  • Members who have been Practitioners for more than 10 years are no longer required to submit an annual tutorial, although we still recommend that you continue to receive tutorials periodically. Members who have been Practitioners for less than 10 years need to submit an annual tutorial to the USTA Office prior to renewing their membership dues for this year.

To renew your membership dues online, please follow the below steps:

  1. Go to https://www.tragerapproach.us/

  2. Hover your mouse over the 'ABOUT TRAGER' tab at the top of the page and click on 'MEMBERS ONLY' from the drop-down menu

  3. Type in miltontrager as the password to the Members Only Section and click on the arrow button

  4. Scroll down and click on the blue button titled 'RENEW HERE’

  5. From there, click on the ‘RENEWAL’ blue box and then select the Renewal Type from the drop-down menu, enter ‘1’ as the quantity, and select ‘ADD RENEWAL TO CART’

  6. From there, the online dues renewal form will appear on your screen where you simply type in your Name, Email, select your Region from the drop-down menu, answer the question about Requirements, answer the question about needing an Extension, select whether or not you wish to donate an additional amount, and then click on the ‘ADD RENEWAL TO CART' button where you will be taken back to the 2020 Renewal Page

To make a donation to a specific Committee and/or Region:

If you wish to donate to a committee fund or a specific region, please click on ‘Donation’ under the blue button and you will be taken back to the page with two large blue boxes. Click on the ‘DONATION’ box, choose the amount you would like to donate from the drop-down menu, and then click on ‘ADD DONATION TO CART’. From there, select the fund(s) you wish to donate the amount to, and click ‘ADD DONATION TO CART’. If you wish that your donation be split between several different funds, please be sure to enter this information into the Explanation box.

To Pay by Credit Card:

To complete your payment by credit card, click on your shopping cart in the upper right-hand corner of the page in the black box. Review your items. If you entered something into your shopping cart by mistake, simply click on the “x” to the left of the item and it will remove it from your shopping cart. Once you have finalized the items and amount to be paid, click on ‘CHECKOUT’. From there, follow the three steps on the left which begins with entering in your email address.
