Trager International is excited to invite you to the second live Zoom event in our series of Educational Conferences. The theme of all our events this year is “Branching out from our Roots”. In this second event, we go directly back to the source and present several short clips taken from the videos of Milton Trager teaching back in the 1980’s. Selected to provide inspiration along several thematic directions, they will be shown during the live event, subtitled in English.
Our panel includes Gail Stewart, Gwen Crowell, and Amrita Daigle, coordinated by Roger Tolle. They all studied directly with Milton, and continue to practice and teach the work as they learned it decades ago and as they have evolved it in their own style and emphasis since then.
Each panelist will introduce a clip, highlighting what catches their attention in it, and invite their colleagues into a brief discussion. Then all participants will have a chance to share their own observations, reminders, and awakenings in breakout groups. What do we see? What do we hear? What do we feel from Milton’s words, his work, and his presence?
At the end of the program, we will return to breakout groups so we can summarize what we are taking away and envision how we may put our new inspirations into action.
In the weeks following the live Zoom event, the recording will be edited and subtitled in English. This recording will be posted to TI's website for password viewing. The video clips of Milton will also be available for viewing with subtitles in 5 languages. For those who could not attend the event and did not register, the recording may also be purchased later for the event registration fee. The English subtitles of the zoom event will also be available for translation.
