US Foundation for Trager Education and Research - April 2020 Update

Recall, Spring, and Hope

Foundation Update Photo.jpg

The Trager Foundation Board members are preparing for the day when all of us can again open our offices and our practices to the general public. Although that reality may look different from what we have known, and we may have to wear masks and follow new cleaning protocols between clients, we know to ask the question, ‘Well…. How could it be?’ We understand the universe holds innate knowledge and wisdom to move forward. We know the value of pause.

Research regarding the efficacy of Trager® will be our focus for the next few years. This involves development of easy to use templates and questionnaires so that Trager practitioners around the country (and maybe the world) can begin to generate case reports. Case Reports that can be published, generating further interest, attracting funding for research projects. These activities fulfill our mission to educate the public about the Trager Approach.

We are also creating content for our own Trager Foundation website where these templates and case reports will be posted. Additionally, you will find information about Trager research happening around the world.  The content will be ready when funding is received so we can quickly move forward with this project. The cost of the website will be $200.00 per month for hosting, maintenance, updating and growing.

The Trager Foundation is a separate 501-c-3 organization, funded by your donations and the generosity of Board members. We ask for unrestricted donations to the Trager Foundation for the next few years so Board members can use the funds where they are needed most.

Donations can be sent through the link on the USTA Website https://www.tragerapproach.us/foundation, or by check mailed to: Trager Foundation, PO Box 284, Burton, OH, 44021.

Spring has arrived. The natural world around us is changing, life emerging from the winter. Grasses bring green to our landscape, early flowers share their color. In the midst of physical distancing from our fellow human beings, touching nature can bring peace to our hands.

Go outside. Take a breath. Touch our shared natural world.
